Cartier Summer House is a creative concept for a beach club on Hainan Island, inspired by the elegance and relaxed lifestyle of the French Riviera. It brings together art, hospitality and leisure in a setting that reflects Cartier’s distinctive identity.
From large-scale installations and seaside dining to sunset gatherings and open-air cinema, the concept offers a variety of experiences throughout the day. Each space invites guests to enjoy the summer, discover the Maison’s universe and share memorable moments by the sea.

Summer House. A monumental water cube reimagines the iconic Cartier écrin as an immersive architectural landmark.
A Place To Slow Down. In a world where everything moves faster, Summer House proposes a new definition of luxury: the ability to slow down and fully inhabit the moment.
The Summer Hours. A contemporary groom welcomes guests and becomes the narrative thread guiding visitors through each chapter of the experience.
The Panther. The Maison’s iconic Panther emerges from the sand. As guests approach, a subtle purring sound resonates from within, bringing the Panther to life.
Café Rouge. Inspired by the legendary red cafés of Saint-Tropez, this monochromatic destination becomes the social heart of Summer House a place to gather, meet and be seen.
Edible Icons. Desserts and culinary creations reinterpret the visual language of the Maison through playful and sophisticated edible icons.
Beach Lounge. The giant lounger is where time slows down. A soft architectural structure wrapped in Cartier’s signature striped textile, gently moving with the ocean breeze.
Riviera Portraits. Vintage-inspired portrait stations are framed with mirrored panels, reflecting and extending the surrounding landscape while creating contemporary Riviera-inspired photo moments.
Summer Essentials. A collection of exclusive accessories extends the Summer House experience beyond the beach, transforming memories into objects.
Santos Pétanque. Inspired by the Santos watch created by Louis Cartier for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, this monumental sculpture reinterprets its iconic shape and exposed screws as a contemporary gathering point at sunset.
Dinner Facing the Sea. Beneath a floating canopy facing the ocean, dinner unfolds as a poetic celebration of light, landscape and togetherness.
French Influence, Reimagined. A sophisticated interpretation of Chinese cuisine infused with French influences elevates the dining experience.
The Endless Sunset. A sunset that never truly ends. A luminous dome extends the golden hour, allowing this special moment to linger long into the night.
Cinema Under the Stars. As night falls, guests gather on the beach for a screening of Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot, a timeless celebration of summer, simplicity, and life’s small pleasures.
